The actress plays the character Furiosa, who was played by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road; this story takes place 15 to 20 years before the events of that film. Furiosa faces off against a warlord leader named Dementus, played by Hemsworth.

In a recent interview on The One Show, the actors revealed that a specific fight scene took 78 days to film, which is about what most full-length Hollywood films take in their entirety.

“We shot it for 78 days, 78 days!” the star said. “Yes. It’s called Stowaway. It was 100 per cent the mountain we were all trying to climb.”

She added, “I do think there’s an element where like it intensified the situation because I’m sure she wants to talk about what’s going on in her life but she’s just surviving. So yeah I think it gave it that fire.”
