Taylor Swift fans were left convinced that the popstar made a slight lyrics change in a touching nod to boyfriend Travis Kelce Tuesday night.
The ‘Fortnight’ songstress, 35, who has been dating the NFL player since last summer, closed out the European leg of the Eras Tour with a record-breaking eighth show in London in front of a 92,000-strong crowd.
The pop icon pulled out all the stops for her Wembley finale, including performing ‘So Long, London’ from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, as a surprise song to bid farewell to the British capital.
However, Swifties were let adamant that the performance wasn’t just a nod to the Big Smoke but also her NFL beau Kelce, who Swift will now reunite with back across the Atlantic as he prepares for the upcoming season.
The 14-time Grammy Award winner performed the ballad in its entirety, singing the final lyric as ‘I’ll find someone,’ rather than the written ‘you’ll find someone.’

Her ever-observant fans were swift to pick up on the change with many claiming it was a nod to her latest romance with Kelce following the end of her six-year relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn last year.
‘So long london, i found someone,’ one social media user posted alongside a photo of Kelce performing his signature archer touchdown celebration and one of Swift mimicking the pose during one of her concerts.
‘The final line in “So Long, London” is “I’ll find someone” and she did,’ another fan shared, adding a stream of love-heart emojis.
‘‘So Long, London. I found someone.’ she sure did,’ a third Swiftie echoed.
‘Her saying i’ll find someone instead of you’ll.. healed something in me,’ chimed in one particularly emotional fan.
‘Singing this song like this IN London? I’m cackling,’ one amused social media user wrote alongside a GIF of Kelce chanting, ‘USA! USA!’
‘My tayvis heart,’ and, ‘SO LONG, LONDON. I FOUND SOMEONE,’ were among the other reactions.
Her ever-observant fans were swift to pick up on the change, believing it referenced Kelce
It wouldn’t be the first time the ‘Anti-Hero’ hitmaker has made a lyric chance to honor the Super Bowl winner.
Last November, after several weeks of supporting her NFL beau during games, it was time for Swift to return to the spotlight, resuming her Eras Tour with the South American leg, and for Kelce to take over the supportive partner duties.
During the Chiefs’ bye week, the Super Bowl winner made the trek down to Buenos Aires, Argentina to see his girlfriend perform in front of a sold-out crowd.
It marked the first time Taylor switched the lyrics of her finale song, ‘Karma’, to ‘Karma is the guy on the Chiefs,’ in a sweet nod to her boyfriend which has become a tradition every time he is in the building for a show – like a Tayvis equivalent of the Royal Standard flying when a monarch is home.
