London travel news LIVE: A10 Stamford Hill closed in both directions after man injured in motorcycle collision
A man has been injured in a serious crash in Stamford Hill, causing the A10 to close in both directions.
Footage from the scene shows a motorcycle and car inside a large police cordon, with sand spread over an area of the road.
The London Ambulance Service said it assessed a man at the scene before he was taken to hospital by a third party.
The road is closed both ways between Ravensdale Road and Clapton Common, creating long delays.
Congestion built up from Tottenham High Road past Seven Sisters to Tottenham Hale after the incident about 7am on Friday, Travel data site Inrix reports.
Several London bus routes are reportedly affected by the road closure.

Man taken to hospital following crash

A man was taken to hospital following a serious collision in Stamford Hill, the London Ambulance Service has said.
A LAS spokesperson told the Standard said: “We were called at 7.06am today (Friday 6 September) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Stamford Hill and Egerton Road, Hackney.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. Our crews assessed a man at the scene, before he was taken to hospital by a third party.”
