London Fashion Week models leave little to the imagination as they walk the runway for Di Petsa in bizarre looks

Models have dared to bare on the first day of London Fashion Week as they took to the catwalk in an array of bizarre looks.

For womenswear label Di Petsa, topless appeared to be the running theme of its event as the brand, which was established in London in 2019 by Greek designer Dimitra Petsa, showcased its creations.

The relatively new fashion firm has quickly become popular with A-listers, including Gigi Hadid, Doja Cat, Bella Hadid, and FKA Twigs.

But despite the influx of support from celebrities, the daring runway looks showcased today in the Spring/Summer 2024 collection are likely to leave mouths wide open.

Most the quirky creations failed to offer any kind of coverage for the scantily-clad catwalkers – with several appearing topless or wearing garments with daring cut-out detailing.

One stunning individual sported a pair of cream and red trousers, whilst wearing a matching strappy accessory across their naked chest.

Another topless model turned heads in an intricate low-cut maxi skirt, featuring cut-out detailing along either side of the garment.

Finishing off the outfit with a touch of glitz, the catwalker wore a dazzling necklace that cascaded down their chest.

Elsewhere, a model showcased a sheer ensemble, including a billowing skirt and a halterneck top with three cut-outs.

Often walking with their hands in the air, the models showcased an array of unique designs – including one who wore only a chain across their top and a pair of gold pants.

Leaving very little to the imagination, they finished off the bizarre look with a pair of cream shoes and a shimmering necklace.

It’s not the first time Di Petsa has made headlines for the daring ensembles it presents at London Fashion Week.

In February, models walked the runway in a series of bizarre looks from the brand – including torso cut-outs and barely-there crotchet dresses.

One model sported a sheer cream dress with the torso cut out to reveal an impregnated womb.

The unique piece featured a diamond-encrusted headpiece which extended across the model’s eyes.

Di Petsa’s signature ‘wet look’ was encapsulated in the outfit’s material, as its shirred texture gave a fluid appearance.

The look symbolises ‘self-acceptance’ and ‘honouring of fluid state’, according to Dimitra’s website.

A uniquely creative make-up aesthetic was also included, with the model opting for an ethereal eyeshadow look with pink undertones.

Elsewhere, in an unusual occurrence, two models took the runway at the same time during Di Petsa’s show.

The models appeared to include an interpretative performance, whereby they embraced one another through their sheer mesh dresses in skin-coloured tones.

At one point, a model appeared to get on her knees while directly staring at the other.

Moments later, the models bizarrely appeared to embrace one another with a warm hug. The memorable duo concluded their brief performance by strutting down to the end of the runway hand in hand.
