Putin told nuclear weapons are in ‘full combat readiness’ – London Business News | Londonlovesbusiness.com

The Russian Foreign Minister has told Vladimir Putin that Russia’s nuclear weapons are in “full combat readiness.”

Sergie Lavrov who is Putin’s right-hand man said this will have “serious” implications for Kyiv’s “handlers” which is a warning to Ukraine’s Western allies.

Lavrov said, “We talk about red lines, expecting our assessments, statements will be heard by intelligent, decision-making people.

“It is not serious to say that if tomorrow you do not do what I demand of you, we will press the ‘red button.”

He added, “I am convinced that in such situations, decision makers have an idea of what we are talking about. Nobody wants a nuclear war.”

Putin’s former advisor Sergei Karaganov has strongly urged for nuclear weapons to be launched against NATO.

Karaganov called on Putin to attack a NATO country with the “limited use” of a nuclear weapon and claimed the alliance would not respond.

He told Russian newspaper Kommersant that Russia has the “right to respond” to any strikes inside Russia by Ukraine using Western supplied long-range cruise missiles.

The Russian despot has also warned NATO and the West in a direct message the use of long-range supplied weaponry inside the Russian Federation will result in Moscow declaring “war” with the alliance and their allies.

Last week a Russian MP has told Parliament on Tuesday that they will respond using “more powerful weapons” as the US and UK are discussing strikes on Russia using long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin issued a warning to NATO that they will be “completely involved in this conflict.”

He told Russian MPs, “Today, the US does not hesitate to discuss the possibility of strikes on the territory of Russia. What do such strikes imply? Satellite clusters belong to the United States and to NATO countries.

“Targeting and command execution will in this case be performed in conjunction with satellite clusters by NATO personnel. This means that NATO is being completely involved in this conflict.”
