In pictures: Dune London upsizes Lakeside store

The brand’s previous store in Lakeside, Essex, opened in 1997 and included a 1,055 sq ft sales area.

The new location, which is almost a third larger, is located on the first floor and aims to “increase [Dune London’s] overall visibility in the shopping centre” through a new retail format.

This includes a shop window with an integrated media screen showcasing the latest product and campaign imagery, alongside a neutral colour palette of gold, stone and warm cream tones and spacious seating areas for customers trying on Dune London’s men’s and women’s footwear assortment.

Nigel Darwin, who joined Dune London’s owner Dune Group as CEO in 2022, said: “We are excited to open this new larger Dune London store in Lakeside showcasing our very latest store concept, giving our customers the best environment to experience our fantastic range of shoes and bags.”

“Lakeside is a vibrant shopping destination, and we can’t wait to welcome long-term and new customers into our Dune London store.”

Dune London’s physical retail portfolio includes 52 standalone stores and eight concessions in the UK, alongside five Dutch concessions, two Swiss standalone stores, 19 USA Dillard’s locations and 142 franchise sites across 18 international markets – including the Middle East, India and Australia.

Dune London founder Daniel Rubin is set to speak at Drapers Inner Circle Summit on 16 October.
