London stations and underground lines

Euston
Engineering work and other station closures to take place

Liverpool Street
Liverpool Street mainline station will be closed from Christmas Day until Thursday 2 January.

Paddington
Trains will be diverted to Euston at Christmas until 2030

Additional Network Rail engineering work will mean closures at Fenchurch Street, Kings Cross and Paddington mainline stations

East Midlands Railway
Nine-day line closure between Bedford and London St Pancras International from Saturday 21 December to Sunday 29 December inclusive. Find out more here

Great Western Railway
From Friday 27 December to Sunday 29 December 2024, there will no mainline trains operating to or from London Paddington. Find out more here

Heathrow Express
There will be no service on certain days during the festive break due to planned railway upgrade works. Find out more here

A reduced service will run from 24 to 27 December, with no service on 25 or 26 December. Find out more here

Significant engineering works will be taking place across the festive period with the greatest impact being on the route between London and Bedford. Find out more here
