Kyiv does not need permission to attack deep inside Russia using homemade weapons – London Business News | Londonlovesbusiness.com

The US has said that Ukraine does not need permission to attack targets deep inside Russia using their own domestically made weapons.

During a briefing the US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said Ukraine can use “many” homemade weapons.

The Kyiv Independent reported, he added that Ukrainian forces have “an enormous amount of material to defend itself.”

President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly asked for permission to use Western provided weaponry inside Russia, this has not been allowed as the West are too afraid of an escalation from Moscow.

Ukraine is hopeful that Western allies could change their mind because so far almost everything President Zelensky has asked for his forces he has received.

And if you look at the weapons we’ve provided them, we’ve made it very clear that they can use them to retaliate against Russian targets across the border that are conducting attacks.

“We are always looking to see if there are additional tools we can provide them.”
