Mirinov told LondonLovesBusiness.com, “The West is once again insistently talking about the need to end the conflict in Ukraine. The message to Zelensky is clear: Kiev must agree to the cession of territories in exchange for peace and the independence of Ukraine, by analogy with how Finland did it in 1940.

“Someone suggests the option of freezing the conflict according to the Korean scenario. None of these scenarios meets Russia’s interests and is therefore not viable.

“The meaning of diplomatic pressure on Zelensky is obvious: the West wants to keep the anti-Russian regime in power in Kiev by all means.
