Jaguars vs Bears: Our prediction

The Bears (3-2) are slightly more consistent, boasting a solid defensive lineup ranked 7th overall in yards allowed, especially effective in pass defense.

However, their offensive struggles—especially in rushing—could make it difficult to capitalize on Jacksonville’s weak defense, which is allowing the second-highest passing yards per game in the league.

The Jaguars (1-4), on the other hand, have an inconsistent offense, ranking 15th overall in yards per game.

Their running game, however, has been a standout, ranking 2nd in yards per carry, which could exploit the Bears’ weaker rushing defense (ranked 23rd).

Trevor Lawrence’s ability to move the ball could make this a close contest, but turnovers and a poor third-down conversion rate remain concerns  .

Given the matchups, Chicago’s defensive strength and Jacksonville’s recent form hint at a modest scoring game.

The Bears’ defense might edge out with a narrow win if they can control Lawrence’s passing game, making a bet on the Bears to cover -2 a cautious but reasonable play. Betting on the under (44.5) also appears favorable, given both teams’ trends in lower-scoring games.
