Selena Gomez Wears Chic Black Suit in London

On Saturday, Selena Gomez attended the Deadline Contenders Film: London 2024 panel at the Ham Yard Hotel wearing a chic black suit over a body-hugging black wrap top. The suit included a blazer with wide lapels and padded shoulders and a pair of loose long slacks that covered most of her pointed toe boots.

The waist of the pants were cinched with a black leather belt with a gold buckle. Her other accessories were gold as well, with hoop earrings in her ears and a gold statement ring on one hand. The Only Murders in the Building star wore her hair down and parted to the side and she had on a natural makeup palette with a coral lip.

The panel included a discussion about her newest film, Emilia Perez, and she was joined by her costar star Karla Sofía Gascón. The film premiered this week at the 68th BFI London Film Festival at The Royal Festival Hall. For that event, Gomez went full glamour, wearing a bright red Oscar de la Renta custom gown.

This week, Gomez also spoke for her startup Wondermind at their Mental Fitness Summit. She shared a bit about her relationship with social media.

I try my hardest to take these [social media] breaks, but equally I’ve had to stop trying to defend myself, because I should not be apologetic for being honest, for saying I’m not good, and that’s not nice what you said,” she explained. “You know, my mom has always taught me that the noise is going to be there constantly, but it’s about finding that moment where I actually physically say, ‘No, I am a good person, I’m kind, I work really hard, and I’m grateful, and I love all the little things in life,’ and I need that reminder.”

Gomez continued, “I’m not going to lie, it kind of hurts. I’m definitely not one of the people who can kind of ignore it. It’s just too—I’m just speaking on my generation’s behalf because it’s wild how inhumane people can be with their words and things they would probably never say in person either. It just hurts.”
