The Jags are solid favorites, with the total set in the low 40s. 

Jaguars TE Evan Engram OVER 46.5 receiving yards   

Evan Engram had been sidelined by a hamstring injury since Week 2, but he exploded in his return by catching all 10 targets for 102 yards in a loss to the Bears.

Engram led all tight ends with 114 catches last season, and he’s the most trusted pass-catching option for Jacksonville QB Trevor Lawrence.

Patriots QB Drake Maye OVER 18.5 pass completions    

You have to take the good with the bad when it comes to rookie QBs, and Maye offered up plenty of both in a loss to the Texans last week.

Let’s start with the good. In his first NFL start, Maye completed 20-of-33 pass attempts for 243 yards and three TDs. He also rushed for 38 yards on five carries. 

The bad? Maye threw two interceptions and also fumbled once. 

The former UNC quarterback has a favorable matchup against the Jaguars, who’ve given up 14 passing TDs on the season.

In a word, Jacksonville’s pass defense is inept. The Jags allow the most passing yards to opponents per game at 276.7.

Patriots TE Hunter Henry anytime TD scorer

We’re tailing our colleague Mo Nuwwarah at The Lines on this one. This is his top ATTD scorer pick for Pats vs. Jags.

Here’s Mo: “A couple of Pats wideouts found pay dirt in Week 6, but I’m skeptical of the utility Kayshon Boutte and Pop Douglas will have in the red zone. They are both very small, no taller than 5-foot-10. Douglas didn’t score a single TD last year despite gathering 49 catches.

“Hunter Henry has proven himself over the years to be a reliable red-zone target. Drake Maye found him for the team’s other score last week, and tight ends are often a young QB’s best friend. If anyone beats this terrible Jaguars pass defense for six, I think it’s likely to be Henry.”
