Spurs run riot vs West Ham, Ipswich vs Everton delayed, Man Utd vs Brentford

ALL KICKING OFF

An exchange between Van de Ven and Kudus has seen players from both teams pile in.

And Richarlison, only just on the pitch, has ended up on the floor as well.

Kudus is very lucky to stay on the pitch, actually – he’s pushed two players directly in the face and only got a yellow card.

Tottenham sub – Richarlison ON, Solanke OFF

Richarlison gets a heartwarming reception from the Spurs faithful as he makes his first appearance since coming back from injury.

The Brazilian replaces Solanke, who’s had a quiet game. While he’s linked up well with his teammates at times, he hasn’t been any sort of goal threat.

And Stuart Pearce wants more from the big man up top for Spurs.

“It does concern me me slightly,” said the England legend.

“He works hard for the team, he has played his part, which I like, but I can’t remember him having a clear goalscoring chance.

“I’d like to see him have more efforts around the goal, certainly, as a centre-forward.”

Especially one that cost £65million.

His heat map from the game shows Solanke’s lack of impact around the box, and that he played most of the match in midfield.

It’s the same frustration fans had with Harry Kane in the latter years of his time at Tottenham.

GOAL! Tottenham 4-1 West Ham – Heung-min Son

“Football is back, Son is back and Tottenham are blowing away the cobwebs!”

Couldn’t have put it better myself, Mr Matterface.

It’s another counter-attack goal, with Son again baffling the Hammers defence with lovely footwork.

The skipper beats his man one-on-one with a couple of stepovers and thumps a low shot past Areola.

Son then has a chance to score his hat-trick goal immediately after the re-start as West Ham lose the ball again, but he hits the post!

GOAL! Tottenham 3-1 West Ham – Heung-min Son

Well, this one was a gift, but it wasn’t short of graft from Spurs.

West Ham sloppy in possession and the hosts break. Kulusevski puts Son through on goal and he scuffs his shot.

Areola again gets something on it, but the ball goes through the goalkeeper and dribbles into the net.

Spurs have a two-goal lead – let’s see if they can hold onto this one…
