LONDON, U.K. — In the final game in the United Kingdom, the Jacksonville Jaguars hope to get at least one win in their second home, as they host the New England Patriots on Sunday.

This is the second week in a row where the Jaguars are playing in the Motherland. Last week, Jacksonville was dusted in north London by the Chicago Bears, losing 35-16. It marked the first time since 2022 since the Jags, who now play biannually in London, have lost in the U.K. Yet, the team has won three of its last four games overseas, and is 6-6 in London overall.

Jacksonville’s loss last Sunday was certainly a step back for the team, which had a strong offensive effort in its Week 5 win over the Indianapolis Colts. However, the team has hardly been consistent on either side of the ball and is slowly seeing its playoff hopes diminish.

The Patriots also played in Europe last season, losing to the Colts in a lackluster 10-6 final. It was the first time New England lost a game outside the U.S., as they had won each of its first three international games, including two in London.

Nevertheless, the Pats are also heading into England in the midst of a disappointing season. After a stunning win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, the Patriots have lost five straight games.

The Patriots are 12-2 against the Jaguars, including a 50-10 drubbing in their last meeting during the 2021 season.
