Man captured snoozing on mattress in the middle of busy London road

A shocking video shows the moment a man laid down for a nap on a mattress in the middle of the road – as drivers weaved around him.

The odd scenes were caught on camera from an upstairs window as the man decided to snooze on a main road in north London.

Dressed in a bright yellow jacket and beanie hat, he lifted his head to look at oncoming vehicles but no-one – including a handful of pedestrians – checked to see if he’s alright.

One walker crosses the pedestrian crossing right next to him but simply continues on their journey.

Several cyclists also zoom past, having a good ogle, but did not dismount, while some drivers barely even braked.

One vehicle simply stopped away from the man, before eventually deciding to skirt around his roadside bed.

The footage was taken in Harlesden, close to its border with Kensal Green and was uploaded to X today.

The poster said: ‘Bro really taking a nap in the middle of the road in Harlesden.’

One replied: ‘Bro really taking a nap in the middle of the road in Kensal Green. Promise you it’s not Harlesden, it’s not that f*cking bad.’

Another described him as an ‘idiot’ while one added: ‘He’s a human speed bump – should thank him.’
