Sam’s Waterside wins ‘Best New Business’
Sam’s Waterside restaurant in Brentford has been recognised at the annual West London Chamber Business awards, winning ‘Best New Business’.
The event, which took place on Thursday (21 November) at a gala event at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford, celebrates the successes of local businesses across Hounslow, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham.
Owner Sam Harrison, who also owns Sam’s Riverside restaurant in Hammersmith and operates Sam’s Larder grocery online and Sam’s Kitchen on Turnham Green Terrace in Chiswick, said he was “thrilled” at the win.
The Clayton Hotel in Chiswick was highly commended in the Education & Training Provider of the Year and Best Business for Hospitality & Leisure categories as was The Upper Room in the Best Charity & Social Enterprise category.

Speaking after the announcement, Sam Harrison said:
“I am really thrilled that the judges have recognised the hard work of my incredible team at Sam’s Waterside and what they have achieved since we opened.
“I was particularly pleased they acknowledge our decision to be the flagship restaurant and first to open in the Brentford Project. They kindly mentioned our investment in the Brentford area and what we bring to its ongoing development. My team and I are hugely proud”
