Holloway: Five taken to hospital after takeaway blaze
The fire service also sent 10 fire engines and around 70 firefighters to a separate fire in West Hampstead on Thursday which was brought under control at about 05:20.
The blaze broke out at an end-of-terrace house converted into flats on Lyncroft Gardens.
Part of the roof of the building was alight and firefighters evacuated around 25 people to safety, but there were no reports of any injuries.
Station Commander Ken Spratt, who was at the scene, said: “West Hampstead Fire Station has been set up as a rest centre for residents affected by the fire.”
The first call was made to LFB at 03:09 and crews from West Hampstead, Paddington, North Kensington, Hendon and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
