Adam Gillen, Katherine Langford to join ‘Cabaret’ West End cast | London Theatre
More new casting has been announced for the seven-time Olivier Award-winning immersive production, which is now booking at the Kit Kat Club through May 2025.
Wilkommen! Adam Gillen and Katherine Langford will join the cast of Cabaret in the West End, playing a limited engagement at the Kit Kat Club from 23 September 2024 to 25 January 2025.
Gillen is best known for his Olivier Award-nominated performance in Killer Joe at Trafalgar Studios. His other theatre credits include Amadeus at the National Theatre and I, Joan; Henry VIII; and Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare’s Globe.
Langford is best known for the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination, and the movie Knives Out, for which she won a Satellite Award as part of Best Ensemble: Motion Picture. She now makes her West End debut in Cabaret.
Gillen will play the Emcee, and Langford will play Sally Bowles. Other new cast members joining on 23 September include Daniel Bowerbank as Clifford Bradshaw, Fred Haig as Ernst Ludwig, Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister, Sam Darius, Adrian Grove, Justin-Lee Jones, Alexandra Regan, Marina Tavolieri, Ben Simon Wilson, Anne-Marie Wojna, and Lucy Young.
Continuing with the show will be Sally Ann Triplett as Fraulein Schneider, Fenton Gray as Herr Schultz, Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie, Damon Gould, El Haq Latief, Ela Lisondra, Hícaro Nicolai, Andy Rees, and Patrick Wilden.
Winner of seven Olivier Awards including Best Musical Revival, director Rebecca Frecknall’s Cabaret immerses audiences in the Kit Kat Club. The show follows the patrons and performers at that Berlin, Germany, nightclub during the rise of the Nazi regime, which slowly seeps into the club that once provided an escape.
