Air India Now Offers Daily Bengaluru-London Flights
Air India will soon start direct flights from Bengaluru to London, offering daily services with their Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner starting October 27, 2024. This new route will directly connect Bengaluru, India’s Silicon Valley, and London’s primary airport, Heathrow. It will replace the current five-day-a-week service to London Gatwick, enhancing travel convenience between these major hubs.

Air India launches daily Bengaluru to London flight: Key details
The new flight will operate under flight number AI113, departing from Bengaluru’s Kempegowada International Airport at 2:20 pm and reaching Heathrow Airport at 7:30 pm, local time, daily. On its way back, it will depart from London at 9:05 pm and reach Bengaluru at 12:20 pm.
The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on this route will offer passengers 18 flatbeds in business class and 238 seats in economy class, ensuring a comfortable journey. The daily operation of this Air India route will increase the airline’s weekly capacity to London Heathrow by 3,584 seats, including both inbound and outbound flights.
At present, Air India has 31 flights each week from Delhi and Mumbai to London’s Heathrow Airport. The launch of a daily Bengaluru to London flight will boost the connectivity between India’s major city and the UK’s capital. The national carrier also operates 12 weekly flights to London Gatwick from Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Goa, and Kochi.
