Alia Bhatt to host her first charity gala in London on March 28; here are all the details
Bollywood star Alia Bhatt is all set to host her first gala! The actress wears many hats with absolute ease. She is a bonafide superstar of Indian cinema, she is also a producer who backed the critically acclaimed Darlings and is also an entrepreneur. The actress will now host her first Hope Gala in London.
According to multiple media reports, Alia will host the gala on March 28 in partnership with the Mandarin Oriental hotel group at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London.
Alia has been supporting the Salaam Bombay Trust and the Gala is in support of the charity. The Salaam Bombay Trust is a well-known organisation which helps the most vulnerable, at-risk children in Mumbai to get proper schooling.
Reportedly, the Gala will be attended by prolific industrialists and philanthropists from India and the UK.
Alia was seen visiting the Kapoor family home on Wednesday, with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor. The home is under construction and the family of three had come to visit the site.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia recently wrapped up the shoot of her second production Jigra, which is helmed by Vasan Bala.
Announcing the wrap, a few days ago, she shared candid photos from the sets of the movie on her Instagram featuring herself and The Archies actor Vedang Rania who co-stars in the film.
Sharing the post, she wrote, “jigra oh… abki teri baari ho @vedangraina & that’s a film wrap on #JIGRA @vasanbala @swapsagram. See you soon… 27th September 2024 at a cinema near you.”
Earlier this month, Alia rang in her 31st birthday with husband Ranbir Kapoor and family including mum Soni Razdan, sister Shaheen Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor.
