BFC announces provisional schedule for London Fashion Week

The British Fashion Council (BFC) has released the provisional schedule for London Fashion Week (LFW) September presented by 1664 Blanc as it continues to celebrate the event’s 40th anniversary. Taking place from September 12-17, the schedule is a digital-physical hybrid. LFW40 will spotlight London’s unique creative communities, independent businesses and its position as a world leading cultural capital.

This season, Harris Reed, Patrick McDowell and Standing Ground are new to the schedule and will show alongside Completedworks and EDELINE LEE who have all been awarded Catwalk slots. Mithridate joins the schedule and will showcase their collection in a presentation format. Designers returning to the schedule are Kent & Curwen, Nensi Dojaka and Toga. Other schedule highlights include 16Arlington, Ahluwalia, Burberry, Chopova Lowena, David Koma, Dilara Findikoglu, Emilia Wickstead, Erdem, Fashion East, KNWLS, Richard Quinn, Roksanda, Simone Rocha and Tove.

“We are thrilled to announce that this season the BFC Newgen Show Space will be returning to the iconic 180 The Strand. BFC Newgen designers activating physically on schedule include Aaron Esh, Ancuta Sarca, Charlie Constantinou, Chet Lo, DI Petsa, Derrick, Harri, Johanna Parv, Karoline Vitto, Lueder, Masha Popova, Paolo Carzana, Pauline Dujancourt, Sine´ad O’Dwyer, The Winter House, Tolu Coker and Yaku. BFC Newgen designers activating digitally on schedule include Kazna Asker, Leo Carlton and Steve O Smith,” the BFC said in a press release.

The British Fashion Council unveils the London Fashion Week (LFW) September 2024 schedule, blending digital and physical formats from September 12-17.
Highlighting London’s creative communities, new designers including Harris Reed and Patrick McDowell will join other established names in a celebration of fashion and cultural innovation at LFW.

The final physical and digital schedule will be released in August 2024 and will include further updates and specific information regarding the format and timings of each activation.

Accreditation for LFW September 2024 is now open. Accreditation is reserved for fashion industry professionals attending the event in a work capacity (press, buyers, influencers, stylists, photographers, broadcasters, sales agents).

Returning this season is the LFW City Wide Celebration, a programme of events and activations open to the public over LFW.
