More suspects after shopping seniors targeted

Brantford police have identified more suspects in an investigation into a series of pick-pocketing incidents that appear to target seniors as they shop.

After asking last week for the public to help identify two suspects who appeared to be working together, police have released two photographs of additional suspects who may be involved in targeting seniors at area grocery stores.

Police said four men are working in tandem to distract a shopper while another steals the shopper’s wallet, getting away with credit cards and identifying documents.

Police said they received at least four separate calls for from seniors who had their wallets stolen between April 11 and 15.
