Evelyn hires Coutts sports director to bolster London team

Evelyn Partners has hired Mimi Cordon-Lloyd, formerly an associate director at Coutts Private Bank, to its financial planning team. 

Cordon-Lloyd will join Evelyn’s 65-strong financial planning team in London.

Previously, she spent more than two years at Coutts, where she worked in the sports, media and entertainment wealth management team. 

Evelyn’s chief financial planning director Emma Sterland said Cordon-Lloyd’s specialism would aid the firm’s bespoke offering. 

‘Mimi’s appointment and several others in the pipeline attest to our renewed focus on developing the firm’s substantial financial planning and investment management teams,’ added Sterland. 

The appointment comes on the back of two major hires for the firm. In November, Evelyn hired former HSBC portfolio manager Kate Morrisey as its head of asset allocation.

Likewise, at the start of the month, the firm brought in wealth veteran Matthew Spencer, formerly of Close Brothers Asset Management, to lead its push for adviser business as head of intermediaries.
