Full cast announced for ‘The Comedy About Spies’ | London Theatre
Mischief Theatre’s other West End shows include The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong, and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery.
The full cast has been revealed for Mischief Theatre’s new West End show The Comedy About Spies. Performances begin at the Noël Coward Theatre from 14 April 2025.
Starring members of the original Mischief company, the show’s cast includes Dave Hearn, Chris Leask, Henry Lewis, Charlie Russell, Henry Shields, Greg Tannahill, and Nancy Zamit. They are joined by Adele James, who is making her Mischief debut.
The new play from the company behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong, and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery follows a rogue British agent after they steal plans for a top-secret weapon. When CIA and KGB spies flock to London’s Piccadilly Hotel in pursuit of the file, the mission gets hilariously out of control.
The creative team includes original Mischief Company members Henry Lewis and Henry Shields (writers), Matt DiCarlo (director), David Farley (set designer), Deborah Andrews (costume designer), and Jon Fiber for JollyGoodTunes (sound designer and composer).
A sneak-peek of the opening scene from The Comedy About Spies at The Royal Variety Performance will be broadcast on ITV1 on Sunday 15 December.
