Girls tennis roundup: No. 3 Minnewaska sweeps MACCRAY; No. 10 Osakis topples New London-Spicer

The Minnewaska girls tennis team, who is ranked No. 3 in Class A, earned a dominant 7-0 win over MACCRAY on Thursday over Morris Area-Chokio-Alberta-West Central Area.

Minnewaska is now 17-3 on the year.

Minnewaska plays at the West Central Conference meet at Alexandria High School at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Osakis sweeps singles matches against New London-Spicer

10th-ranked Osakis (Class A) went 4-0 in singles matches on Tuesday in its match against New London-Spicer.

Osakis went on to win 5-2 on Sept. 24.

Osakis is now 12-5 on the year.

Osakis plays at Staples-Motley at 4 p.m. on Thursday.

Parkers Prairie gets its fifth win of the year

The Parkers Prairie Panthers improved to 5-10 on the year with a 4-3 win over Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa on Tuesday.

Parkers Prairie won a pair of singles matches, and a pair of doubles matches on Sept. 24.

Parkers Prairie plays at Morris Area-Chokio-Alberta-West Central Area on Thursday at 4 p.m.
