London has become sort of a second home for the Jaguars. Since the NFL started going overseas since 2007, Jacksonville has played at least once a year since 2013, including playing twice at Tottenham last year. Jacksonville beat both the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills in 2023. The Jags are 6-5 in London.
This will be the Bears’ third game in London, and first since 2019. They beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Wembley Stadium in 2013 before losing to the Oakland Raiders in 2019.
If you predicted that the Bears would have a better record than the Jaguars coming into this game, go buy a lottery ticket. Jacksonville could not find a way to get its offense going early on, losing its first four games of the season. Trevor Lawrence and company came alive last Sunday when they beat the Indianapolis Colts in a barn-burner, 37-34.
It was an inauspicious start to 2024 for the Bears, as rookie quarterback Caleb Williams showed some growing pains through the first few weeks. However, the offense has found a rhythm over the past two weeks in wins over the Los Angeles Rams and Carolina Panthers.
The Bears are 5-3 against the Jaguars, including winning their last meeting in 2020.
MY PICK: Jaguars win, 25-21
