LONDON, U.K. — To kick off the Sunday slate of NFL action, one team looks to continue their hot start to 2024, on the other side of the pond, as the Minnesota Vikings get set to host the New York Jets in London.

It has been a couple of years since either one of these teams played a game overseas.

The Vikings, then led by Kirk Cousins, outlasted the New Orleans Saints in 2022. In three games in London, Minnesota has won every time. The Jets have only played twice in England, beating the Miami Dolphins at Wembley Stadium in 2015 and losing to the Jacksonville Jaguars in north London in 2021.

The Vikings come into this bout in the United Kingdom on a huge run. They have thwarted many doubters early on thanks to a strong start from Sam Darnold who has filled in admirably after rookie JJ McCarthy went down with a season-ending injury during the preseason. Through four games, the former San Francisco 49ers has thrown for 11 touchdowns and is one of the main reasons Minnesota is undefeated thus far.

He will be going up against one of the best quarterbacks ever, as Aaron Rodgers will look to get the Jets back on track after an abysmal effort against the Denver Broncos last Sunday. The Jets scored just nine points, the second time this season they have been held to less than 20 points.

This will be the 13th meeting between the two longstanding franchises, with the Jets holding an 8-4 record against the Vikings, despite Minnesota winning the last three matchups.
