Hungarian Prime Minister warns the war in Ukraine ‘has already been lost’ – London Business News | Londonlovesbusiness.com
The Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said Western leaders are losing the war in Ukraine and do not want to admit to failure, he claims.
Orban who is pro-Putin said the West are finding themselves “in a difficult position” and he reiterated that Hungary will not be “dragged” into the war.
Orban said, “They find themselves in a difficult position, fighting a war that has already been lost.
“The situation is that Western countries do not want to stop the Russian-Ukrainian war, and so it is a valid question whether [Hungary] has room for manoeuvre.”

He added, “Reviving the Cold War is a bad idea, yet many are responding to the Russia-Ukraine war in this way and have effectively declared it in the economic sphere.
“We have managed to stay out of the war, and I think we can avoid bad economic policies based on faulty military logic.”
He admitted that Hungary continues to buy Russia oil and gas, he went on to say that if Donald Trump wins the US election on 5 November, then the party of war in America will be replaced by the party of peace.”
Orban stated, “Former President Trump will return, and then we will be able to breathe a sigh of relief, as we will no longer be alone; at least there will be two of us.”
On Wednesday Orban warned that we have “not been this close to a world war in seventy years.”
Orban claims Kyiv’s victory plan is to see the war continue, join NATO then the conflict will spill onto the Russian Federation.
Orban said, “The chances of the war spreading are increasing, and if that happens, who knows where it will stop?
“We haven’t been this close to a world war in seventy years. The king is naked: Brussels bureaucrats have dragged the West into a hopeless war.”
