JD Sports & Sturdy Off Join Forces Launching New Dance Studio In London | News | Clash Magazine Music News, Reviews & Interviews

JD Sports has announced an explosive partnership with Sturdy Off – a junior internet platform that has taken the social media world by storm, continuing to accelerate in growth across the UK and globally. Joining forceogether, in true collaboration, the two partners are proud to announce the launch of the Sturdy Certified initiative.

Featuring newly co-funded JD Sturdy Studio in north London designed to empower and celebrate the potential of UK youth across various creative fields including dance, music production, content creation, and business & finance mentorship.

Kicking off with a launch party at the JD Sturdy Studio, a transformative space dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering creativity. This centre of excellence will serve as a sanctuary for the Sturdy Off community and friends alike, offering open doors and programming across 2025.

Guests at last night’s launch experienced spontaneous performances by the Sturdy Off crew, performances by YouTube sensation Yung T.G.E, multi-genre violinist J Hope StringsUglyAndz and NDOTZ. With beats played by DJ GBE and hosted by Nathan Hector.

Between performances guests were snapped by Polaroid photographers, taking their framed pictures home, as well as getting their teeth decked out with JD branded tooth caps.

Founded back in 2022 by Jordan Green and James Toppin, Sturdy Off was born out of a passion for dance, and a desire to give young performers a platform to shine. With a focus on elevating young dancers, it creates an inclusive space where talent meets opportunity, allowing performers to express their creativity, build confidence and showcase their skills. Recognizing the power of social media to shape trends and connect communities, Sturdy Off is more than just a dance platform – it’s a movement.

Born out of shared values and a mutual mission to continually inspire and support emerging, youth generations, JD’s partnership marks a significant step in Sturdy Off’s growth as they continue to fuse dance and creativity to engage audiences worldwide.

Jordan Green – Sturdy Off Co-Founder:

“We are thrilled to partner with JD sports and look forward to delivering exciting opportunities that showcase the incredible young talent we have the privilege to work with.”

At the heart of this collaboration lies the JD Sturdy Studio — a transformative space dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering creativity.
