Katy Perry reveals steamy teaser for new music

Sir Ian McKellen has been hospitalised following a fall on London’s West End overnight.

The acclaimed actor was performing in Player’s King when he got injured in a fight scene on stage.

While tomorrow’s show has been cancelled due to Sir Ian’s injuries, a theatre spokesperson has confirmed he is in good spirits and will make a full recovery.

And Katy Perry has got fans sweating with a tease for her brand new song, Woman’s World.

The pop star posted a sample of the new video clip to her social media, dressed in a barely there bikini as she seductively stares into the camera while singing.

The single will be available in Australia from July 12 and fans can get a listen and a look in the video above.

In other music news, one of the pop’s biggest names is taking a step back from the spotlight.

Scooter Braun is the music manager behind some of the biggest hits of recent years, with the likes of Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas and David Guetta to name a few.

But today he announced he is retiring after almost 25 years in the industry.

It was his legal battle with Taylor Swift over the rights to her music catalogue a few years ago, which some argue put a smear on his reputation.

Despite the controversy over acquiring the rights to her music and thus putting her on the road to re-releasing her work and setting off on her record Eras Tour, Braun said he remains “grateful to have been part of some of music’s most successful careers”.
