London Bridge to Experience Nighttime One Way Lane Restrictions for Infrastructure Improvements
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Date: October 25, 2024
Temporary One-Lane Restriction on the London Bridge, for Milling and Paving
London— A temporary one-way lane restriction will be imposed on the London Bridge at McCulloch Boulevard due to essential Public Works Infrastructure Improvements. Expertly trained flaggers will manage the directional traffic to ensure safety.
Understanding the potential inconvenience for residents, businesses, and motorists, contractors have made arrangements to carry out the work overnight. Milling activities will commence on Monday, October 28, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., while paving activities are scheduled for the night of Tuesday, October 29, from 10:00 p.m. through to 7:00 a.m.
During this work period, there will be a suspension of the left turn lane from northbound Lake Havasu Avenue onto the London Bridge at McCulloch Boulevard. Detours will be clearly marked and flaggers assigned to guide the flow of traffic in and around the impacted area.
Motorists traveling to and from the Island during these hours are asked to prepare for potential delays. We urge everyone to exercise caution when passing through the construction zones, particularly during night hours when visibility may be reduced.
