London travel news LIVE: Chaos on London Overground after trespassers at Hackney Wick and signal failure

Trespassers on the track at Hackney Wick are causing severe delays on the London Overground on Monday evening, Transport for London has said.TfL said there was no service between Richmond and Willesden Junction, and severe between Stratford an Clapham Junction due to the trespassers.

Meanwhile National Railways said fault with the signalling system at Dalston Junction means trains are unable to run between Dalston Junction and New Cross until the end of the day.Meanwhile a passenger being taken ill on a train between London Blackfriars and London St Pancras International means some lines are currently closed and delays are expected until 7.30pm.While a fault with the signalling system between Denmark Hill and Bromley South / Lewisham means some all lines are disrupted.

Severe delays to Metropolitan line

There are severe delays between Baker Street and Aldgate due to train cancellations.

There is a good service on the rest of the line.

There are also minor delays on the Central line between Hainault and Leytonstone via Newbury Park due to train cancellations.

Thameslink services between Deptford and Charlton delayed

A fault with the signalling system between Deptford and Charlton means trains have to run at a reduced speed on the line towards Dartford.

Thameslink services running between these stations will be delayed by up to 15 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 3pm.

Disruption between Wimbledon and Tooting

A damaged bridge between Wimbledon and Tooting means all lines are blocked.

Thameslink services running between stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised. This is affecting the route between Sutton and St Albans.

Disruption is expected until 2pm.

Points failure at Vauxhall

There is a points failure at Vauxhall meaning some lines towards Clapham Junction are blocked.

Some services between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised, Network Rail said, with South Western Railway affected.

Bakerloo Line disruption downgraded

Disruption on the Bakerloo Line is now only “minor”, TfL has said.

The service had experienced severe delays earlier on Monday due to a points failure at Lambeth North.

There are also minor delays on the Metropolitan and Tram.

Commuter Thameslink and Southern services disrupted

Overrunning engineering works between Horsham and Three Bridges is causing disruption to services running between these stations.

This is a popular commuter route for Southern and Thameslink users.

Services running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised, National Rail has said.

Disruption is expected until 7.30am.

Bakerloo Line severely delayed

On TfL, the Bakerloo Line is severely delayed.

It says this is because of an earlier points failure at Lambeth North.

There is a good service on all other TfL lines.

Southern services hit with disruption

A fault with the signalling system at London Victoria means that some lines are blocked.

Southern services to / from the station may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Affected routes are: Between London Bridge and London Victoria, and also between London Victoria and Selhurst / West Croydon / Sutton / Epsom / Epsom Downs / Dorking / Reigate / Gatwick Airport / East Grinstead / Ore / Hastings / Horsham / Brighton / Havant / Littlehampton / Bognor Regis / Eastbourne / Portsmouth Harbour.

Disruption is expected until at least 7.30am.
