The force originally reported the man was 24 years old before amending his age to 34.

On Friday afternoon, Met forensics officers were seen removing evidence from a property in Shepherd’s Bush, west London.

The force later confirmed more human remains had been found at a flat.

It comes after Avon and Somerset Police received reports just before midnight on Wednesday of a man acting suspiciously and having dumped a suitcase on the Bristol bridge.

Cops then found a pair of suitcases containing body parts on the bridge – later confirmed to be that of two adult men.

Mosquera is understood to be known to both victims found in Bristol.

CCTV showing the suspect was released, with cops later confirming the results of one post-mortem examination were “inconclusive”, while a second is ongoing.

Scotland Yard has taken over the manhunt to find the suspect, who is believed to have left Bristol since the incident.

Another man, 36, was arrested in Greenwich, southeast London, on Friday but has since been released without charge.

Additional post-mortem examinations will be arranged as soon as possible for the latest remains, cops added.

Detectives believe the body parts are connected to those found in Bristol – and that there are still two male victims.

‘What’s in there? A body?’ Passer-by joked about cases being lugged by two men before grim discovery

Neighbours named the men who lived at an address that police were searching as Paul and Albert.

Giles Malone previously told how he and his wife were waiting for their taxi on Wednesday night when they saw two men lugging heavy suitcases at the Bristol bridge.

He said they left his dad’s flat around 10.30pm after the England match and were waiting for an Uber outside a pub when two men got out of a car across the street “lifting these suitcases”.

Giles, who lives in Florida, USA, said a woman, who appeared to be a passerby, had joked with the two men about what was in the bags.

“The lady who was helping them said ‘these are the heaviest suitcases I’ve ever lifted. What’s in them? bodies?’,” he told LBC.

“We sort of semi-joked about it but they didn’t say anything.

“They didn’t really say anything of any remembrance at all, they were just struggling with these cases,” he said, adding that he didn’t help them.

He described the bags as “old, tatty suitcases – two big ones”, and identified one of the men as “African-American” and the other as “white”.
