More human remains found in London as Bristol suitcase suspect named

Human remains have been found at a flat in west London following the discovery of body parts in Bristol, the Metropolitan Police has said.

Police found the new remains at a flat in Scotts Road, Shepherd’s Bush, on Friday.

It comes after the remains of two men were found in suitcases which were dumped at the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol on Wednesday night.

The Met believes the remains in London are connected to those found in Bristol and that there are still two male victims.

Officers believe they know the identity of the two men, although formal identification is yet to take place.

Yostin Andres Mosquera, 24, has been named as a suspect the Metropolitan Police is looking for.

Both victims are thought to have been known to Mr Mosquera, the Met said.

A 36-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the investigation on Friday in Greenwich has since been released without charge.

The Met’s Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Valentine said: “This is a fast-moving enquiry with detectives in London and Bristol actively pursuing a number of lines of enquiry.

“Locating Yostin Andres Mosquera, however, is the priority and I appeal to anyone with information on his whereabouts to get in touch.”
