New subdivision will shrink the size of London’s Sunningdale Golf & Country Club – Turf & Rec
London, Ont.’s Sunningdale Golf & Country Club is poised to shrink in size to accommodate a 51-hectare subdivision.
The London Free Press reports the 36-hole golf property will see the elimination of six holes at its West course to begin the first phase of the development project.
The new subdivision is to be created in five phases to accommodate 1,360 homes. Construction is slated to start in the spring of 2025. The West course is to be reduced in size to nine holes by the time the second phase gets underway.
