NFL London game live chat, open thread: Jaguars vs. Bears

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears are battling across the pond and will kick off Sunday’s slate of games in Week 6. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England will host this week’s inter-conference battle.

The Jaguars (1-4) dropped their first four games of the season but were finally able to notch a tally in the win column in Week 5, beating the Colts 37-34 with a field goal in the game’s final minute. The Bears (3-2), like all teams in the NFC North, sport a winning record and are coming off a win over the beat-up Rams.

Betting line and pick for the game

Despite only having one win on the season, the folks over at FanDuel Sportsbook are slightly leaning toward Jacksonville and have set the betting line at Jaguars -1.5 points.

The Jaguars are 6-5 when they play in London, including winning there twice in 2023, but they’ll need their defense to step up in this game to keep their winning streak alive. Both offenses were clicking last week, but while the Bears’ defense looks balanced, the Jaguars’ pass defense is struggling.
