NFL Week 5 Anytime Touchdown Scorer Best Bets | Pickswise

Bye weeks have begun, which means it’s slimmer pickings than we’re used to. Let’s dive into our NFL Week 5 anytime touchdown scorer best bets, while you can also find out our experts’ NFL picks for EVERY game.

Panthers vs Bears anytime touchdown scorer pick: Chuba Hubbard (+135)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Andy Dalton has given this Panthers offense new life the last two weeks, but let’s not ignore the fact that Chuba Hubbard has back-to-back 100+ yard games with a touchdown in each. He’s completely taken over this backfield, with Miles Sanders logging just 31% of the snaps last week. With Jonathan Brooks set to return soon, let’s get our Hubbard bets in while we can.

Hubbard and the Panthers will be met by the Chicago Bears and their middle-of-the-pack run defense. They’re allowing 1.3 rushing touchdowns per game, including four in their last two games. Putting my faith in Dalton and company getting down to the redzone – let’s hope Hubbard can punch one in.

Jets vs Vikings anytime touchdown scorer pick: Garrett Wilson (+195)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Depending on how much stock you put into locker room talk and narratives, you’ll love this anytime touchdown pick. Like any other receiver, Garrett Wilson voiced his frustrations about the offense this week. They scored just 9 points last week against the Denver Broncos, with Wilson recording 41 yards. It’s been tough sledding for the #1 receiver to start the year. He’s been shadowed by some of the best cornerbacks in the game, including Charvarius Ward, L’jarius Sneed, and Patrick Surtain. But in London on Sunday Morning, I’m backing Wilson at +195 on FanDuel to find the endzone.

Bills vs Texans anytime touchdown scorer pick: Josh Allen (+125)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are fresh off getting embarrassed in Baltimore after looking like a real threat after their 3-0 start. However, another opportunity against one of the best in the AFC presents itself. The Texans will play host to the Bills at 1:00 E.T. on Sunday, and I’m backing Allen to rush a touchdown in.

Allen should have plenty of opportunities to scramble outside the pocket on Sunday. The Texans blitz at the 11th highest rate, allowing the 11th most yards on the ground to the quarterback position. The books have Allen’s rushing attempts line set at 6.5 with vig on the over – I’m willing to bet that some of those come in the redzone.
