Arsenal vs Liverpool: Arsenal play out a 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Emirates Stadium in London, and with that, the title race is now being led by reigning champions Manchester City, who now hold a one-point advantage over Liverpool in the Premier League 2024/25 points table.

Arsenal vs Liverpool, Premier League 2024/25 Fixture | As It Happened

The high-voltage fixture of Arsenal and Liverpool lived up to the billing, as the fixture that promised end-to-end football and high-quality attacking football started off with an early goal from Bukayo Saka, who met the long ball of Ben White with perfection, as everything about the goal was just beautiful.

Mikel Merino scored his first Arsenal goal via a header from Declan Rice’s ball, a decision that needed VAR intervention, but after lots of scrutiny, the Spanaird was awarded his well-deserved goal.

Second-half did produce moments of brilliance but there were no signs of goals until the 81st minute, where Darwin Nunez did well enough to find Mohammad Salah, who now has a goal contribution in 8 of his last 9 appearances across all competitions.
