Princess Diana’s Nieces Are Masters of Transitional Season Style

The style gene must be strong in the Spencers, because from Princess Diana to her ever-fashionable nieces the family always seems to be outfitted in the most covetable looks. On this occasion, it’s Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer‘s swoon-worthy transitional season style that has our attention; the twins made a case for getting excited about jacket season at an event celebrating a new collaboration between accessories brand Tod’s and Indian designer Rahul Mishra.

For the event, Amelia wore a sleek all-black look of a turtleneck sweater and trousers, topped with a leather blazer for a hint of rocker edge. (Though the exact jacket Amelia wore hasn’t been identified, J.Crew is offering a similar option for those looking to snag the style.) Meanwhile Eliza opted for dark trousers under an oversized leather overcoat in a shade of slate blue, with a contrasting grey collar and Boodles jewelry.

Naturally, the sisters accessorized with pieces from the new collection: mules and a crossbody clutch embroidered with multicolored florals for Amelia, and metallic gold embellished versions of Tod’s classic driving shoes and an updated twist on the brand’s Di bag—a favorite of none other that their aunt, Princess Diana—for Eliza.

The twins are the daughters of Princess Diana’s brother, Charles, Earl Spencer, and his ex-wife Victoria Lockwood; they’re also the younger sisters of Lady Kitty Spencer, a model who has earned plenty of her own fashion cred over the years.
