Ryanair hit 35M passengers at Luton, pioneering low-cost flights since ’86 with routes to 10 countries.
Today (24th July), Ryanair, the leading airline in the UK, marked a significant milestone by announcing that it has served more than 35 million passengers at London Luton Airport. Ryanair pioneered low-cost air travel at this airport, commencing its inaugural flight from Dublin Airport in 1986. Presently, Ryanair maintains 29 routes connecting London Luton Airport with 10 European countries, utilizing 7 locally-based aircraft. This represents a $700 million investment and sustains over 1,900 jobs in the area.
For this summer, Ryanair has scheduled its largest ever array of flights from London Luton Airport, with over 300 weekly flights covering 29 destinations. This includes exciting new routes to Palma de Mallorca and Treviso, offering travelers unparalleled options at the most competitive prices for their summer 2024 vacations.
