Dunelm is opening its first Central London store this month – with shoppers able to get their hands on homeware bargains just in time for Christmas.
The retail chain will open its doors in White City’s Westfield shopping centre on Thursday, November 28, ‘offering quality homewares for all styles, budgets and tastes’.
It’ll be the first central London store for the brand since it first opening in Leicestershire 40 years ago. Many of the existing locations in the capital are in retail parks in outer London boroughs.
The 4,500 square feet shop will be stocked full of festive items, including the best-selling Churchgate curtains, classic Dorma bedding and the colourful Elements range.
It will also have dedicated bedding, lighting, furniture and home accessories departments in an ‘easy-to-shop store format’.
Doors will open at 10am and the first 100 guests through the doors will ‘be treated to an exclusive goody bag full of homeware treats’.
There will also be 30 golden tickets hidden around the store, offering money off an array of homewares on the opening day, the store said.
Dunelm, which has seen a rise in sales and profits, has its fair share of fans online. TikToker Helen Anderson, who has more than 100,000 followers on the video-sharing platform, recently posted a Dunelm haul, saying: ‘My love for Dunelm grows with every visit.’
Another creator, who goes by Describing Olivia, also posted a video showing of Dunlem’s Christmas offerings.
Her video features an array of festive wreaths, as well as cushions and adorable gingerbread-themed glassware and cute crockery covered in Christmas trees. Olivia said that she was ‘blown away’ by the selection.

Debbie Drake, design director at Dunelm, said: ‘We’re thrilled to be opening the doors to our London store, offering a fresh shopping experience with design at the forefront.
‘Our new concept store has been carefully curated to inspire our shoppers and provide practical home solutions, all whilst showcasing the very best of the latest homeware trends. We look forward to welcoming the shoppers of London through our doors very soon.’
The Westfield store will create around 20 jobs and is one of several new Dunelm locations expected to open over the coming months.
The retailer opened six new stores across the UK during the last financial year and hopes to open more in London soon.
It comes after yet another store opened in London – fashion and homeware chain Cath Kidston made a comeback to London with a shop at Westfield White City last month.
The retailer, known for its vintage-inspired designs and floral patterns, closed its doors in June 2023 but returned to the high street with a new store at the shopping centre on October 18.
