Søstrene Grene continues London expansion with new store opening in Uxbridge | Retail Bulletin
GENERAL MERCHANDISE NEWS
Søstrene Grene is continuing its London expansion with the opening of a new store at The Chimes in Uxbridge.
Set to launch in time for the busy Christmas period, the shop will offer the Danish retailer’s signature range of Scandinavian-inspired homewares, soft furnishings, kitchen essentials, furniture, gifts, crafts, and children’s toys, including its popular “mini home” collection.
The Uxbridge launch will further strengthen Søstrene Grene’s presence in Greater London, building on the success of stores in Tottenham Court Road, King’s Cross, Wandsworth, Richmond, Kingston-upon-Thames, and Bromley.
With over 300 shops worldwide, Søstrene Grene is aiming to have 100 stores in the UK by 2030 and reach 500 globally by 2027.
Mikkel Grene, chief executive and co-owner of Søstrene Grene, said: “We are delighted to bring Søstrene Grene to The Chimes in Uxbridge, a vibrant shopping destination with a fantastic selection of retailers.
“This new store will offer our signature Scandinavian style and ‘hygge’ experience, and we can’t wait to introduce our unique products to the local community.”
The retailer’s UK joint venture partners, Norma Jacob and Richard Power, are also looking forward to the Uxbridge opening.
Power said: “This year has been marked by a series of successful store openings across the UK, and we’re thrilled to continue this momentum.
“The addition of another London location is an obvious choice. Our previous locations in the capital have been extremely successful, and we expect Uxbridge to be no different.”
