Syracuse Basketball: 4-star recruit London Jemison lights up EYBL, soars into top 30
Syracuse basketball 2025 priority target London Jemison from Connecticut, who has played at a high level this spring on the AAU circuit, is vaulting up the national rankings.
One of the fastest-rising prospects nationwide in his class over the last few months, the four-star wing/small forward is in the top 100 overall, according to all of the primary recruiting services.
Most recruiting Web sites have him in the top 65 nationally, as well as a top-15 forward and a top-two player coming out of Connecticut.
By extension, when Made Hoops recently updated its 2025 national rankings, the 6-foot-8 Jemison climbed 19 spots to No. 26 around the country in his cycle.
The Orange coaching staff offered a scholarship to Jemison in late September of last year. Toward the end of December in 2023, he officially visited the Hill, and that’s his only official visit to date.
Jemison, who has also taken an unofficial visit to Providence, holds nearly 20 offers at this point in his recruitment. Per a recent article from Sam Lance on zagsblog.com, Jemison plans to take more visits this fall and make a college decision around that time, too.
Amid the current AAU season, Jemison has conducted several interviews where he’s discussed the programs currently recruiting him the hardest. Those schools include Syracuse basketball, Ohio State, Providence, Notre Dame, Xavier, Virginia, Mississippi State, Georgetown, Vanderbilt and Tennessee.
The standout at the powerhouse St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Conn., Jemison this spring and summer is one of the stars for the 17U squad of the Boston-based Expressions Elite in Nike’s EYBL league.
The EYBL circuit is in the midst of conducting a fourth session this weekend, in Kansas City, Mo. Jemison, in the first two games for Expressions in Kansas City, tallied 16 points and 22 points. He has earned high marks from national analysts and scouts for his play at other EYBL sessions earlier this spring.
Last weekend, during an NCAA live period, the Syracuse basketball staff checked out at least one Expressions game as the EYBL league hosted encounters in Indianapolis. As far as I can tell, these days, Jemison is one of numerous priority recruiting targets for ‘Cuse coaches in the rising high school senior cycle.
