Tod’s unveils ‘Rahul Mishra X Tod’s’ capsule collection at London Fashion Week

This collection celebrates the artistry behind Tod’s legacy while infusing it with Mishra’s signature design elements. Each piece is adorned with detailed hand embroidery, crafted by Kaarigar artisans whose expertise has been passed down through generations. The collaboration expertly combines heritage with contemporary design, offering a fresh take on Tod’s classic products.

The standout piece of the collection is the Gommino loafer, embellished with vibrant floral embroidery woven with silk threads on metallic nappa leather or soft black and golden velvet. The design is inspired by the Tree of Life, a recurring theme in Mishra’s work. The Di Bag and T Timeless shoulder bag also feature elaborate floral patterns and gold zari embroidery, enriched with crystals, beads, and sequins, elevating Tod’s iconic designs into true statement pieces.

Rahul Mishra shared his excitement about the project, saying, “We developed a limited-edition collection of Tod’s iconics, drawing inspiration from nature, my constant muse. This partnership is special, representing a blend of Italian elegance and the intricate craftsmanship of India.”

The “Rahul Mishra X Tod’s” collection will debut internationally with a launch event on September 13th at Tod’s Bond Street Boutique during London Fashion Week.
