Buses

  • Some central London bus routes will be on diversion starting from mid-afternoon on New Year’s Eve to accommodate celebrations and road closures.
  • A selection of daytime routes will continue running overnight.

Elizabeth Line

  • The Elizabeth Line will operate throughout the night; however, there will not be any services to Heathrow.

DLR

  • The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) will run all night.

Tube

  • Tube services will operate all night, but unlike in previous years, travel will not be free.

London Overground

  • There will be no service between Liverpool Street and London Fields on the Weaver Line.
  • Overnight services will run on the following:
    • Windrush Line: Highbury & Islington to West Croydon/Crystal Palace.
    • Mildmay Line: Stratford to Clapham Junction/Richmond.
    • Weaver Line: London Fields to Chingford, Enfield Town, and Cheshunt.
