Ukrainian President tells Russians to ‘go to hell’ – London Business News | Londonlovesbusiness.com

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has told Russia to recognise “their crimes” and it would be good if they “preferably [go] to hell.”

Speaking during a press conference with the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said the Russia will have to acknowledge their war crimes that’s being committed in Ukraine.

President Zelensky said, “Where should Russia go? Preferably, to hell.

“It would be good if they understood what they are doing — they are killing us, and we are defending ourselves and fighting the enemy.”

“Of course, we very much want to be stronger so that this war ends in 2025. Excuse my undiplomatic language,” the President added.

President Zelensky is attempting to shift Berlin’s stance on sending their long-range Taurus missiles to Kyiv to be used to attack inside Russia.

President Zelensky told Scholz on Monday that by having the lethal Taurus missiles they will be able to destroy more Russian military targets.

Zelensky said Ukraine is very grateful for the German IRIS-T systems which are short range infrared homing air-to-air and short-term medium range surface-to-air missiles, which is valued at around $200 million and has a 100% hit rate for incoming flying objects.

President Zelensky said, “We share common views with Olaf on some issues, but there are also differences. We are constantly working to find more common ground on the Taurus issue.”

However, the German Chancellor has not changed his position over providing the long-range missiles for fear of escalation.
