Vicar vacancy in London and Home Counties

We are a diverse, Eucharistic community in the heart of Harrow town centre. We seek a committed and missional priest to help us spread the Good News of the gospel and serve our community in Jesus’ name.

We are looking for a vicar who will:

  • Challenge us to develop our spiritual gifts by example and teaching, and to lead us in worship which celebrates our multicultural context and respects our largely central tradition.

  • Support us in reaching out to families and young people in our community, especially through our relationship with St Jérôme Church of England Bilingual School.

  • Have a sense of humour, aware of their own strengths and weaknesses and able to show empathy and compassion.

We offer:

  • A committed and active team.

  • A friendly and welcoming congregation.

  • A 5-bedroom detached Vicarage in a quiet street with a garden.

Further details available in the role description.

Closing date for applications: Friday 31st January 12:00pm

The Diocese of London is committed to creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce which represents our context and wider community. We are aware that those of Global Majority Heritage/United Kingdom Minority Ethnic (GMH/UKME), women, and disabled people are currently under-represented among our clergy and workforce, and we particularly encourage applications from those with the relevant skills and experience that will increase this representation.
