Weekend travel warning from GWR with train times incorrect

GWR says to “only travel if necessary” on Sunday, December 8 due to crew availability.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, December 7 GWR says services will be very busy due to Christmas and sports events.

Bath and Exeter Christmas markets coincide with Bristol sports events, increasing strain on train services.

On Sunday, a “significantly reduced, amended timetable” will be in place between London and Bristol Temple Meads and London and South Wales.

The operator advises: “Online journey planners are currently not correct and will be updated overnight on Saturday.

“Please check your journey on your day of travel for the latest information.”

Tickets for GWR trains on Sunday, December 8 can be used on Monday, December 9.
