What Happened to Drake London? Falcons WR Injures Chest After Concussion Evaluation
There are a very few people in the NFL that you can count on. One of them is Drake London, who comes in a clutch in the direst times. The Falcons somehow extended the game to overtime, and it was time for Kirk Cousins to shine. He threw the pass to Drake London, he rushed and got tackled from the front.
It looked like he got hit on his shoulder, but it may also be his chest. London couldn’t get up and was attended by the trainers and medical staff immediately. But he did what he does best, he got the much-needed yardage to set Kirk Cousins for a game-winning touchdown pass.
But Drake London was fired up on the sidelines after the 37-30 victory against the Buccaneers. He then headed back to the locker room he had a near-perfect game tonight. London caught 12 of 13 passes headed to him and amassed 154 yards. It was London who started the night off for the Falcons with his game-opening touchdown.

It all started when Younghoe Koo got the Falcons to the OT. The clock restarted and Kirk Cousins found himself on 2 and 9 and, without wasting any time, flung a 6-yard pass to Drake London. The receiver barged through, but was hit by a defender coming right at him. Jesse Morse, MD, thinks that “Drake London appears to suffer a right lower rib injury during his monster night.”

However, we don’t know the extent of that injury. London was hyped after the game. How could he not be? He was seen rushing to the locker room after watching Kirk Cousins throw for a massive 509 yards and four touchdowns. While Kirko Chainz and the Atlanta crew will be celebrating tonight, London has a few things to look forward to and they might not be good.
Drake London might want to take it easy after a 36-30 night
London got that dawg in him! Even after having the wind knocked out of him early in the second quarter, he was up and ready to go after a concussion evaluation. He had 38 yards to his name at this point, but he had to go to the locker room to get checked out. But the Falcons WR making such risky plays might catch up to him one of these days. He might have to take it easy for a couple of days. Or at least till the Falcons play the Saints.

A rain of Gatorade showered the Falcons’ locker room. Even the cameraman got reeled in. It was wild! Nobody has had a 500-yard game in the last 8 years. Cousins finally broke the record tonight.
