Yellowstone star Kelly Reilly lives ‘normal life’ in London despite fame

Fans of  Yellowstone  can’t deny that show heroine Beth Dutton is a force to be reckoned with.

The sassy character has captured the hearts of viewers since season one of the show with her witty one liners, her fierce loyalty, her ruthless streak and her undeniably captivating love story with now-husband Rip Wheeler. Wheeler is played by Cole Hauser who recently opened up about what it was like to film Seaon 5 after Kevin Costner‘s shock exit from the series.

Beth has been brought to life perfectly by Kelly Reilly who plays the ferocious woman at the centre of the Dutton clan.

Many are surprised to learn that while she delivers a wildly convincing embodiment of an all-American ranch girl, Kelly is in fact British.

The star has insisted that she actually just lives a very average life in London despite the fame she has found in Hollywood.

Kelly says that when Yellowstone began she “didn’t do any press” as she wanted people to really invest in Beth as a character.

She said: “People talk to me as if Beth is real. We all talk about Beth like she’s a real-life person. I’m always going to be a bit of a let down when people meet me. I go into the local bakery and the lady is like, ‘I’d love to drink with you.’

“I know what she means – she wants to drink with Beth. People want to feel part of that energy… someone so connected with their primal self. And we’re so disconnected. We’re all on our phones, on social media. It is like it doesn’t happen if someone doesn’t take a picture of it. Beth is the opposite of that. She is just so alive.”
